  • Please don't host parties/events or smoke in the house or on the balcony, and keep noise down after 11pm

Arrival & Access

Finding the key: the house key is kept in a lockbox at the property. Mel (your property manager) will send you the lockbox code ahead of your stay — see Need Help? for her contact details if you haven't received it by check-in day.

Needs confirmation

The lockbox's exact location on the property hasn't been confirmed yet — add it here once confirmed (e.g. "by the front door").

Before you leave

Please return the key to the lockbox before you check out — see Before You Leave.

Check-In

Check-in is any time after 2pm. You'll find some basic kitchen and bathroom supplies in the house ready to use when you arrive.

What's Already Provided

Basic amenities are provided to get you started — enough for a night or two without needing a shop run:

  • Basic kitchen supplies
  • Basic bathroom supplies
  • Hair dryers
  • Board games and cards (dining area sideboard)
  • Books throughout the house (please leave them for other guests)
  • Xbox and a Nintendo Switch dock (downstairs living room)
  • A baby cot and high chair (stored in one of the downstairs bedrooms) — see Bedrooms

Things to Bring / Don't Need to Bring

If you're staying longer than a night or two, we'd recommend bringing a few extra consumables, since what's provided is only enough to get you started:

  • Toilet paper
  • Dishwasher tablets
  • Tea/coffee
  • Laundry powder
  • Coffee pods, if you use a pod coffee machine
  • Any other consumables you'll go through over a longer stay

Important House Information

House rules:

  • Please don't host parties or events
  • Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight
  • Please don't smoke in the house or on the balcony/decks
  • Please keep noise down after 11pm
  • Please don't eat in bedrooms or on the sofas
  • Please don't sit on the sofas in wet swimwear or wet clothes — it can leave stains
  • Please wash any dishes prior to checkout
  • Any damages are paid for out of the security deposit
  • There's a tap on the front balcony for washing sand off your feet — using it before heading inside helps keep sand out of the house
  • If you use the baby cot or high chair, please give them a clean and pack them away again afterwards

Help us keep the plants happy

There are live plants throughout the house — feel free to top up their water reservoirs if you notice one's low. They're hardy and hard to overwater, so there's no need to worry about doing it wrong.

Parking: the double carport downstairs is used by another unit — please don't park there. Parking is available in the garage under the house or on the street. There's no EV charger on the island, but the garage does have a power point (up high) if you need to charge an EV.

BBQ gas bottle: if it runs out, see BBQ.

Rubbish: bins go out on Sunday, collected Monday morning — see Before You Leave → Bins.

Wi-Fi & Internet

The Wi-Fi network name and password are on the fridge in the house — not stored in this public repository.
