What It Is

A Weber Family Q, available for guest use.

Correction

Earlier notes had this as a swap-and-go gas BBQ downstairs at the rear of the house. A walkthrough and the balcony photos confirm it's actually the Weber Family Q on the balcony — this page now reflects that. If there's a second BBQ downstairs as well, let us know so both can be documented.

Quick Start

On cold or windy nights, the Weber can take a little longer to warm up. The best approach:

  1. Light it and leave the lid down while it heats.
  2. Give it roughly 15–20 minutes to come up to temperature.
  3. Check the temperature gauge on the front to see where it's at.

Tips

Keep the BBQ clean as you go — it's much easier than a big clean at the end.

Troubleshooting

Problem Fix
Slow to heat on a cold or windy night Leave the lid down and give it 15–20 minutes; check the gauge rather than opening the lid to look
Gas bottle empty Swap & go from Foodworks at Point Lookout (Bob's Shop); keep the receipt — the cost can be charged back through Mel, see Need Help?
